Looking at the relationship between text and image in Chinese printmaking throughout the ages, including religious texts, propaganda Posters, and comic books; you will learn how the invention of various printmaking techniques in ancient China have influenced and inspired generations of artists. Participants will be taught methods in relief printing to create an edition of their own inspired design.
