About
Leave the tin of Magnolia on the shelf this spring! 22 members of East London Printmakers will be displaying highly imaginative and artistically produced wallpapers at London's leading design and architecture gallery dreamspace from 22 March to 11 April 2010.Following an extremely successfully exhibition at the V&A's Museum of Childhood, the East London based artists will be exhibiting a range of original hand printed wallpapers. The inspirations and designs range from fighting cats and collected words of wisdom to vintage patterns as well as the simple and underestimated concept of fun! All wallpapers, as well as individual sample pieces, will be for sale.
The exhibition opens in March when artists will be present to explain thoughts processes behind the works as well as the many innovative printmaking techniques involved and adjusted to produce work at this ambitious scale.
