Andrée is first and foremost a printed textile designer for the fashion industry. Her move into the world of painting 6 years ago has been a resounding success. Her collection of watercolour and ink paintings in the light, Japanese style certainly raise the spirits and delight the soul. Her lightness of touch captures the gentility of several flower types. Clearly abstract in form, but instantly recognisable as lily, lotus blossom, and magnolia etc, this collection is well worth viewing and can be described simply as 'beautiful'.
