Alma Enterprises is pleased to present the first in a series of newly commissioned performances and events which continues Alma's investigation of the performative and in the past has featured artists including: Brian Catling, Kim Noble, Hayley Newman, William Hunt and Thomas Altheimer.
In the first commission, taking place on Thursday 10th September from 6pm to 9pm, Adam James and Lucy Pawlak will present the opening of the first St Unicorn's Trust centre in London. This new collaboration will consist of a large scale interactive performance comprising of various workshop activities and led by a team of volunteer workers employed by the trust.
In the guise of the St Unicorn's Trust co-managers Patrick and Rose Horne they invite guests/participants to "Join St Unicorn on a quest to change your life forever". The St Unicorn's Trust utilizes art and music to facilitate new and better realities and bring unity to culture under the global banner of St Unicorn. The Trust will be taking over the large courtyard area behind Alma's new gallery space.
Gallery visitors interested in attending the performance should arrive at the gallery for 6:15pm and they will be informed of how to participate.
