A Day with a Duck

Helen specialises in making site-specific work in response to the use of space in our daily activities. Ely has a unique relationship with the feathered denizens of its city and Helen will present an interactive presentation of the way in which public areas of the city are shared between human and duck.. Focusing on City territories, hidden spaces, and contrasts between the urban and the wild, A Day With A Duck is a gallery presentation of new work and public programme of events curated by Helen made in collaboration with invited artists, local people and wildlife. Artworks and events inside and outside the gallery will include duck-led tours, walks, performances, interventions and a chance to get involved in ‘One Minute Bird Watching’ and a ‘Live duck-shoot. with Helen in collaboration with Ely-based members of Cambridge Super 8 Group. No experience required’
