Gill Addison was 12 years old when Rimmel, the makeup company, stopped production of the lipstick “Talked about Pink”. This was the lipstick that her mother had worn all her life. "It had a distinctive perfume and taste; it was bold and vivid in colour, it was more than just a lipstick, it was a key to becoming your own woman".

Gill Addison- Talked about Pink (2011 UK 45 min) is a Video Essay that examines how the feminine is viewed & understood in the context of familial relations. The Screening is followed by refreshments and a discussion with Artist filmmaker Gill Addison.
