Outside In

Outside In is a national project which aims to provide a platform for artists who find it difficult to access the art world either because of mental health issues, disability, health, social circumstance or because their work does not conform to what is n

Artists are invited to submit works via the Outside In website for entry into the open art competition.

Having submitted the work, it will be considered for possible inclusion in the Outside In: National exhibition at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester opening in October 2012, and considered for the Outside In: Central exhibition at Compton Verney in 2013.

The Outside In: On Tour exhibition will reside in The Public in 2013.

On Friday 11 May we will be running two free arts-based workshops exploring the techniques of two famous artists - Alfred Wallis, 11am – 1pm and Frank Auerbach, 2pm-4pm. If you need some help creating your online gallery, please come along to our free Surgery Day on Friday 18 May.
