Andrew Carnie Solo Show

About

GV Art is pleased to present a new solo exhibition by the artist and lecturer Andrew Carnie, whose current work explores scientific themes and involves 'picturing' the body through science. Dendritic Forms is a body of work that investigates the visual motifs of trees and organic matter that is mirrored within the human body and altered through Carnies' interest in computer technology and development.

On Thursday 12th August artist Andrew Carnie and scientist Richard Wingate discuss the work on display and how Carnies' artistic practice collides with Wingate's scientific research. The discussion is free but booking is essential and begins at 7pm in the gallery. Refreshments are included. Contact GV Art for further information
