Award-winning photos celebrate the senses in London exhibition
From footsteps in the sand to dewdrops on a washing line and a Scottish loch in autumn – these are just some of the winning entries in Sightsavers International’s first national photography competition for students aged 11-18.
Selected from more than 600 entries submitted by aspiring young photographers, the 50 winning photos will feature in a special exhibition at the.gallery@oxo on London’s South Bank from 22-26 October 2008. Leading blindness charity Sightsavers International staged the i-click awards in order to raise awareness of the scale of global blindness and encourage students to think about what it might mean to live without a sense such as sight.
