The Arts Bar & Café at Toynbee Studios will host the first of Live Art Advisory Network’s regular drop in advice sessions on 18 September.

Surgeries and networking led by Live Art Advisory Network. A free event for recent graduates and early career artists working in the areas of live art, experimental theatre and time-based media, offering both advice and information from LAAN and a chance for social networking with other artists.

One-to-one advice sessions will be offered on a first come first served basis to artists who want to discuss their practice with an advisor, as well as small group sessions and discussions on subjects such as promoting your work to programmers/curators, funding opportunities, maintaining your practice, developing support structures. The event will end with an opportunity to network and socialise informally with peers.

No need to book... just turn up, but come prepared with a sense of what you want to talk about.

The Live Art Advisory Network is a partnership between Artsadmin, Live Art Development Agency and New Work Network to support artists through professional development initiatives.
