The Reader's Digest's “1001 Home Remedies” offers yellow dock, peppermint and apple cider vinegar as a good remedy for an itch.
In fact, most things offered to us these days seem to be remedies for some sort of ailment or other; new trainers for the insecure, holidays for the hard-working, Yoga for the disillusioned - not to mention the vast and endless array of cures for that most difficult of all conditions: the lonely heart.
So, as something of an antidote to this culture of remedies (a remedy for the remedy?), Fold Gallery is pleased to present 'Yellow Freight', a group show of five artists with diverse motives and methods, all offering nothing more than an insatiable, yet ultimately gratifying, itch.
