Patel has conceived this work following a number of visits to the gallery. The work will utilise several kilometres of parcel tape in a meticulous configuration determined by the space. Patel identified this material among the ubiquitous hardware items available locally. Following other recent interventions by the artist, using vernacular resources to address local situations, Patel will execute this elaborate work on site: using the HOLT space with its bewitching central iron pillar as a hub and scarred parquet flooring as an adhesive anchor for her structure.
