Contemporary Art & Animal/Human Studies
This show runs alongside a 2-day symposium at London Met in Whitechapel. Animal/human studies is a flourishing cross-disciplinary subject in universities. For this show, Rosemarie McGoldrick has assembled recent work from 40 artists across the world to demonstrate current thinking around animals in contemporary art. Video, photography, collaborative practice and environmental art feature strongly in this thoughtful, wide-ranging exhibition.
