A Community Window Gallery Showcase.
Canary Wharf Community Affairs and Public Art present a new Community Window Gallery devoted to exhibiting work by local arts projects in our neighbouring area.
Artbeat is a community arts initiative launched by international legal practice Allen & Overy in 2003. Students from partner schools in Tower Hamlets are commissioned to produce work for Allen & Overy’s offices. The scheme provides professional artists as tutors, and continually aims to challenge the students’ perceptions and experiences – both in terms of the media they use and their relationship with the City.
During the past five years, Artbeat students have produced an exciting collection of work including textiles, stained glass, painting, drawing, lithographs, stone carving, digital photography, sculpture, aluminium and lenticulars
