The Ingram Collection: The Human Face

See how faces have been portrayed through the eyes of some of the 20th Century’s most famous British artists.

Find out how sculptors and painters such as Henry Moore,
Edward Burra, Jacob Epstein, Eduardo Paolozzi and Elizabeth Frink have used a variety of artistic techniques to depict the most expressive part of the human body.

The Ingram Collection is owned by international businessman and owner of Woking Football Club, Chris Ingram. It is particularily strong in British Modern Art and, until the recent sculptural exhibition at The Lightbox, 2D-3D, had not been exhibited as a collection in public.

Ingram has loaned over 200 artworks to The Lightbox for public display. The Human Face is the second of many exhibitions drawing on work from the collection.
