Roman Road Project Space

ROMAN ROAD consists of a project space gallery and a publishing company, both newly established.

ROMAN ROAD Project Space collaborates with emerging and mid-career visual artists, with a focus on photography, on the creation and production of a threefold project: an exhibition, its accompanying catalogue, and an editioned work. We aim to bolster each project with a unique approach in order to put forward the distinctive qualities of the artist with whom we collaborate.

As each artist is unique, we are committed to propose to the public solo exhibitions that will focus on one body of work. Our ambition is to provide artists with the opportunity to work within a group of young yet specialised and talented individuals to conceive a project of outstanding quality.

ROMAN ROAD Publishing raison d’être is to produce exhibition catalogues and artist books to promote our projects. Our publishing department hopes to also encourage and facilitate the development of art-related publications.

ROMAN ROAD is located in Bethnal Green, London, aiming to contribute to the cultural vibrancy of the area whilst expanding our engagement on a larger scale both in the UK and internationally.

OUR MISSION is to foster talented artists and combine hands on guidance for selected individual artists through the creation of solo exhibitions in an environment, which promotes a sense of excellence.
