The Hepworth Wakefield

The Hepworth Wakefield is Yorkshire?s landmark gallery for visual arts. Opening in May 2011 this stunning building, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, will show a unique collection of sculptures by Barbara Hepworth - one of the most important sculptors of the 20th Century, born and raised in Wakefield.

With over 1,600 square-metres of gallery spaces, The Hepworth Wakefield will be the largest purpose-built exhibition space outside London and will bring together Wakefield?s art collection and exhibitions by world-famous artists.
