Train: Situated in the center of Newcastle 2 minuets walk from Monument Metro Station and 5 minutes walk from Central Station.
The Made In Newcastle Shop (otherwise known as Min) is a rejuvenated retail premises. It has been given to a select group of local artists and Craft Makers by Newcastle City Council. With the intention of bringing a new lease of Life to the town center after business activity was reduced during the recession. The Shop is a 4 floor house for newly created artworks, boutique objects and couture garments. It is run by a committee of People involved and is not owned by any single person. Each person involved does not receive pay but is aloud to take home any profit they make from the sale of their stock. There is an ongoing program of exhibitions by local artists, showing everything from oil paintings, to installation, to sculpture and fashion. More Information can be for on the Website or in store.
