Schwartz Gallery is a not-for-profit artist-run space that was founded in April 2008 by artist-curators Ismail Erbil and Patrick Michalopoulos. Schwartz Gallery is currently involved in producing a series of Open Call exhibitions creating a vibrant open platform for emerging contemporary art. Housed in a late 19th century industrial building complex in Tower Hamlets Borough, Schwartz Gallery is situated in Hackney Wick, London next to the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
