About

Join us as we take inspiration from the Brothers in Art and Shock and Awe exhibitions, creating 3D landscapes, still life arrangements and complementary block prints. Participants are invited to bring their own photographs of places, people or objects to help inspire their work. Amongst other artworks, we will be taking a closer look at the sculptures of Stephen Hurst (such as Signal, shown above) - assemblages of discarded objects such as bullet shells, light bulbs and book covers, all cast into metal. Based in Bristol, Jenny Blackwood is an experienced children's workshop leader, working across a range of artforms, from theatre to the visual arts. Saturday 16 August. 11-3pm. Suitable for 5-13yrs and their families. This is a drop-in session — come along anytime between 11am and 2.30pm. (Please note: we have limited space available in our studio, so places cannot always be guaranteed.) Admission prices Free with Exhibition Entry
