Thank You 1st - 31st August 2014 Preview & Launch event 1st August 6 - 9pm Jupiter Woods Studio 61 Rollins Street SE15 1EP Jupiter Woods is a new curator-run platform in South London opening on 1st August 2014. Jupiter Woods is comprised of Hanna Laura Kaljo, Lucy Lopez, Carolina Ongaro, Barnie Page, Cory Scozzari, Emma Siemens-Adolphe. Jupiter Woods houses an exhibition space, residency programme, and is a shared research and studio space. Our inaugural exhibition Thank You is a cumulative project over the month of August. By offering our space we extend our thanks to those who have helped in its formation. Thus a collection of artists, architects, philosophers - friends - will occupy the space for this first month. The space is activated: works will be added and removed, and a series of events will take place for the duration of the exhibition. As the space is in a state of becoming, so our first exhibition will expand, taking shape alongside Jupiter Woods. This is also a reflection of our curatorial work, which brings together diverse practices through a shared working ethic. Details of the artists involved and events taking place will be posted throughout the exhibition. Our website and logo will be launched on the 1st August alongside the opening of the physical space.
