About

‘Camera Dances' On the last day of ‘A Diffuse Citizen' Holly Antrum will lead an improvisational film workshop suitable for all ages in response to her installation at Grand Union and the drawings ‘Computer Dances' by Jennifer Pike. Participants will be led with movements as well as them leading their own exercises. ‘Dancing' behind the camera considers the space, still and fixed points for the body that holds it, and how the camera captures further still and fixed points beyond it. This workshop will include elements of drawing, body movements and sound recorders. This is part of the Warwick Summer Fete, Digbeth's canal-side party, which is now in it's third year. There will be lots of activity around Minerva Works, as well as Edible Eastside, so please do come along. (Visitors need to consent to their inclusion in video footage during the event and in the documentation of the event.) To reserve a place, please email info@grand-union.org.uk
