gallery/ten presents its annual summer exhibition, a mixed + changing show of new work from the gallery's artists + designers showcasing the numerous disciplines within the gallery - including painting + print, ceramic + 3d work summer sees new kinetic sculptures by ivan black, the latest work from painter seren morgan jones + new work from abstract artist elfyn lewis following the success of his recent solo exhibition at the gallery. summer also features new experiments with resin + pigment from ruth mclees, works on paper by jon oakes + dry-point pieces from printmaker john abell the exhibition welcomes iwan bala to the gallery. bala's multiple award winning practice has recently centred around the culture of the welsh language in its literature, with poetry, hymns + anthems taking centre stage in his raw, immediate + text-heavy work. bala has exhibited widely, with works in private + numerous public collections including the national museum of wales [the derek williams collection], contemporary art society for wales + the national library of wales summer will also see the return of the kiosk corner, showcasing a selection of works by those featured on kiosk - the gallery's dedicated online platform for selling craft, design, prints + publications. kiosk houses selected works, limited edition prints + publications from the gallery's existing pool of artists alongside invited welsh + wales-based makers, ceramicists + designers prices range from £75 - £3000. the arts council of wales' interest-free payment scheme, collectorplan is also available on all works for further information on the gallery, its artists + kiosk see www.gallery-ten.co.uk
