The Tribe Prize exhibition will showcase the work of the 12 strongest entrants to Edgar Modern's inaugural competition, open to artists working in all mediums living in the UK. All exhibiting artists have been asked to respond to the theme ‘Tribe,' by reflecting on culture today in a fresh and insightful way. The result is sure to be an exhibition full of challenging and boundary pushing work. After the group show one lucky entrant will be named the winner of the Tribe Prize, receiving a thousand pounds cash prize, their own one week solo show and a further year of representation by Edgar Modern. This will include the opportunity to have their work shown at art fairs around the world, a level of investment that it is often hard to come by in today's tough art market. Edgar Modern is dedicated to supporting and developing artists who create exceptional work.
