About

Using our extensive collection of objects and images, this exhibition explores the effects of the First World War on Hull and its people. Themes include recruitment and propaganda, stories from the frontline, the war at sea and how the war impacted on the city and those left at home. This exhibition is part of the Arts Council funded ‘Joining Up' project bringing together the three museum services which span the Humber region — Hull Museums, East Riding Museums Service and North Lincolnshire Museum Service.
