About

WILDWOOD is a new series of linocut prints by Eileen Cooper RA. Inspired by Diana and Actaeon and other mythological tales. The protagonists take centre stage in lucid, playful images of fated lovers, the hunted and the beautiful. They are at once surprising and familiar, each a metaphor for the human condition, depicted with certain awareness of their enduring relevance. Ink and pastel drawings explore similar themes.
