Dark, light; beauty, desolation; utopia, dystopia; thesis, antithesis: Explore these conflicting and emotional themes at Unearthly Synthesis, a three-day pop-up art exhibition, wherein 15 student-artists from University of the Arts London, Goldsmith's and De Montfort University, each display independent pieces that use a wide variety of media and subjects. Set against the eerie and dilapidated backdrop of Asylum — the bombed-in Caroline Gardens chapel-turned-art-space — these ephemeral artworks set out to challenge and awaken one's senses, in turn provide an enchanting and surreal experience.
