neo: is very pleased to announce details of the forthcoming international print biennial.
Achieving critical acclaim in its inaugural year the competition offers a prestigious showcase for contemporary visual artists working within the field of printmaking alongside an impressive list of sponsored prizes and the opportunity to be considered for the 12-week neo:residency supported by University of Bolton.
An independent panel of prominent curators and artists juries the competition ensuring high standards are maintained. Judges for the neo:printprize2014 are:
Gordon Cheung ' Artist, Printmaker Cheung graduated from the Royal College of Art, 2001.
David Cleaton-Roberts ' Co-Director of the Alan Cristea Gallery, London where he has worked since 1998.
Paul Coldwell - Professor of Fine Art at the University of the Arts London, based at Chelsea College of Art.
Eileen Cooper ' Painter, Print, Keeper of the Royal Academy, studied fine art at Goldsmith's College and Royal College of Art, London where she now teaches print-making.
neo:printprize 2014 is an exhibition intending to raise awareness of new trends and directions in printmaking by showcasing excellence and innovation in contemporary printmaking. The exhibition is open to all contemporary visual artists over the age of 18 worldwide.
