About

ARTICULATION: An ongoing series of artists' talks and events at The University of Northampton, directed and chaired by John Harper, and organised in association with NN Contemporary Art. Gavin Turk Tuesday 18th March 6.30pm-8pm The University of Northampton, Avenue Campus, MR57 We're very pleased to announce that Gavin Turk will be giving the final public lecture of the current Articulation series of artists' talks at the University of Northampton. The event will take place on Tuesday 18th March at 6.30pm; tickets are free to University of Northampton students, £4 (£2.50 concession) to others, and advance booking is essential - please contact suzanne.stenning@northampton.ac.uk to reserve a place. As one of the Young British Artists who came to prominence in the 1990s, Gavin Turk's work deals with issues of authenticity and identity, engaging with debates surrounding the ‘myth' of the artist and ‘authorship' of a work of art.
