Daniel Crawshaw: High Country Gothic

These almost photographic images of the snow encrusted mountains of Snowdonia were made after extensive field trips in the imposing landscape of North Wales. The Snowdonia National Park Authority provided Daniel with a temporary studio space at their Visitor Centre in Betws y Coed. ‘High Country Gothic' was originally shown at The Sidney Nolan Trust in Presteigne which included a selection of paintings from Daniel's residency in south Eastern Australia.
