An Animated Exeter exhibition

About

Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG), Honiton is celebrating a new collaboration of the South West's animation courses. 'Degrees of Animation', brings together the best of the region's recent graduates. This year's Animated Exeter exhibition focuses on the work of the most exciting new talent to come out of animation courses across the South West. One of which, Tim Wheatley, is a recent graduate from Falmouth University. Tim's animation 'An Animated Guide to Land Grabs' tells the story of a farmer whose land is taken and he is left with nothing. The animation is based on true events and highlights real issues which are happening today involving large-scale land sales. The film was part of Oxfam's Grow campaign. Alongside the animations there will be a selection of the original models and drawings giving an insight into the work involved. Try your hand at animating in the THG Project Space throughout the exhibition.
