Renoir in Britain

About

This exhibition will, for the first time, bring together some of the most distinctive works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) held in major public collections in Britain. The exhibition will also tell the story of how some of Renoir's most significant works came to this country and, through the benevolence of their owners, found their way into public museums and galleries. Taking a chronological path through nearly 50 years of Renoir's work, the exhibition will include painting, sculpture and works on paper. 8 February 2014 — 20 April 2014 Free Entry | Donations Welcome
