Lucy Byatt is Head of National Programmes at the Contemporary Art Society. Prior to this she was Director of Spike Island in Bristol for six years. She is interested to explore institutional structures and the way in which they can accommodate change and alternative approaches to development. She is committed to establishing opportunities for artists to work within them to develop their practice, establish new roles and inform change.
