About

In 1957 Tom Eckersley joined the London College of Communication (then London College of Printing) staff team. His graphic works during WW2 were crucial in the war effort and alongside contemporaries Abram Games, FHK Henrion, Hans Schleger and Paul Nash transformed visual communication in Britain. In this exhibition the artists filter political concerns through a range of graphic media. The cohort collectively work to question areas of political unrest and in recognition to Eckersley and his counterparts, they seek to inspire change and direct action through graphic image making.
