Le Sang D'un Poet 1932

(Dir. Jean Cocteau)

Cocteau’s first screen work, the director himself describes its series of voyeuristic tableaux as "a descent into oneself, a way of using the mechanism of the dream without sleeping, a crooked candle, often mysteriously blown out, carried about in the night of the human body."

Part of the Did you know, for instance? - An exchange of general knowledge programme of talks, screenings and performances which looks at the sharing of knowledge and experience, and how new, independent histories can appear.
