OVADA Window Exhibition: Ruth Broadbent - 'String Wrapped'

OVADA gallery will be closed to the public for the next six weeks during which time we will present a series of four window projects both at OVADA and at 92 Gloucester Green (bus station side). The first exhibition in the series is 'String Wrapped' located at 92 Gloucester Green. This installation is part of an ongoing series of works that raises questions about people, objects and identity. The objects exhibited here interact with the building and the space, having both the possibility yet improbability of functioning. Their apparently casual placement within this vacant shop not only draws attention to the formof these often overlooked objects but also suggests the possibility of human activity.
