About

A History of Two Mountains/ One the Original/ Two a Copy/ Both Equally Heavy II is an exhibition of copies of artworks by Andreas Slominski, Marcel Broodthaers, Urs Fischer and Marcel Duchamp, and where, due to the simple or gestural nature of the work, copies have been made that are ostensibly equal to the original. A direct response to auto-italia's current gallery space on the Old Kent Road, the exhibition will consists of only four works of art, occupying in turn the facade, the entrance, four walls and the space in between. From an idea by Olivier Castel, Katie Guggenheim and Justin Jaeckle, curated by Katie Guggenheim.
