An artist's response to Macular Degeneration

About

Adam Hahn a portrait painter, will discuss his series of paintings in response to a year of research into an eye condition called macular degeneration which causes deterioration of the central focus of the vision. Adam's paintings will be on display and he will be speaking alongside Professor Pete Coffey, Director of the London Project to Cure Blindness from the Institute of Opthalmology about the project and the impact it has had on the Project's practice. The event, in conjunction with London Arts and Health Forum and Mascalls Gallery will take place at the Menier Gallery, Menier Chocolate Factory, 51 Southwark Street, London SE1 1RU on the 23 July at 1pm.
