About

Chinese Arts Centre is proud to present What are you looking at? - Tsang Kin-Wah's first solo exhibition in the UK. Tsang Kin-Wah is emerging as one of the great young talents from Asia. Combining text, space and sound, Tsang's installations require close attention to trace the message with meaning constructed word by word. Aggressive phrases and foul language run around the space, the extreme emotion of the text contrasting with the simple graphical presentation. Once you enter the work you will be forced to face a hidden side of the real world exposed by the artist. Interested in sensitive social issues, for What are you looking at? Tsang attacks the issue of brutal racism in the UK and demands we take a long hard look at the world around us.
