About

Following the success of last years Summer Screen, this summer Spacex will present an international artists film programme and host a series of related events. The screenings will include a curated programme by Negar Azimi for www.tank.tv titled 'She doesn't think so but she's dressed for the h-bomb'. This includes a selection of short videos by Ziad Antar, Yael Bartana, Haris Epaminonda, Iman Issa, Hassan Khan, Rosalind Nashashibi, Shahryar Nashat, Ahmet à 'güt, and the Atlas Group. There will also a be a chance to see 'Stop. Watch'. New short films by artists that address ecological emergencies. Artists Jordan Baseman, Phil Coy, Manu Luksch, Christine à 'dlund, Elodie Pong, Simon Woolham, and Young-Hae Chang Heavy Industries have been commissioned by Animate Projects and RSA Arts & Ecology, in partnership with Arts Council England to make short films for the internet that explore ecological themes.
