Named Nikon Photographer of the Year three times, David Chancellor is a multi award winning international photographer and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, exhibited in major galleries and museums, and published worldwide. His work has appeared in international publications including Time Magazine, Paris Match and The Sunday Times Magazine. As well as offering an opportunity to meet a successful, professional photographer, this focused all-day event will include: ”¢ A discussion of technical challenges, advice and solutions ”¢ Information on gaining access for photo-documentary projects ”¢ How to deal with rights, permissions and releases ”¢ Advice on planning and researching long term projects ”¢ Financing your work ”¢ Working for editorial magazines ”¢ A chance to get critical feedback on your work ”¢ A chance to ask specific questions In the afternoon, you'll be invited to share an existing project with the group in a short, informal presentation. You will then gain professional, critical feedback on your work from David Chancellor, Pippa Oldfield, Impressions Head of Programme, and other participants at the events. The day is recommended for serious and developing photographers at all levels, and there are just 10 places available.
