About

Invited to consider an exhibition for the domestic setting of 38b Peckham Rye, artist and illustrator Ben Newman will present a new series of compositional paintings of primary colours only, investigating form and facial expression. Ben Newman is based in London. He has developed a distinct aesthetic of bold shapes, bright colours and playful characters, which has been described as ‘Bauhaus fuzzy felt'. Outside commercial illustration, his practice extends into experimental, collaborative manifestations of pattern. Artists: Ben Newman Curators: Luke Drozd, Eva Rowson
