Fun with Cancer Patients

About

Teenage cancer patients express their thoughts and feelings about how the disease and its treatment have affected them in this interactive exhibition. Ten extravagant actions address, through video, photographs, pictures and text, the experiences of the teenagers - such as diet and appetite, hair loss, being stared at, the questions cancer patients are asked and the noises associated with hospital treatment. The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Dr Brian Lobel, a performance artist and Senior Lecturer in Theatre at the University of Chichester, and the Teenage Cancer Trust. The aim is to encourage people to contemplate and discuss the details of cancer and its treatment in order to generate debate instead of silence.
