Doomed Gallery celebrates the world of the Polaroid. We received over 250 polaroid images from 100 photographers from our callout to photographers that wanted to take part in this festival. As well as showing the works via video we have selected 10 of our favourite submissions to exhibit in print. 2 photographers who have heavily used Polaroid within their art will also be exhibiting: Kevin Mason is a fashion and documentary photographer, whose Polaroid work sprung to life through graffiti culture and then moved on to the beauty of fashion photography and the documentation of life and love. Joel Chernin is a London based artist whose Polaroid work crosses over into art and design, using instant photography to design album covers, computer games and viral films. He will be talking about his Polaroid camera collection and instant photography work. Opening: Friday 12th 6pm -9pm / Saturday 4pm-8pm Talks: Friday 12th 7.30pm - 8.30pm
