About

We are accustomed to imagine that citizens belong to nations but many of the values that are being challenged today cross borders of nations: security, economy, environment, cyberspace and migration cannot be contained within the borders of nations and require international cooperation and collaboration. But how are we to conceive the borders of the future citizen? What borders (firewalls, fences, perimeters, checkpoints) are being drawn around the future citizen and how does the future citizen can negotiate and challenge these borders? Speakers include Bridget Anderson, Professor of Migration and Citizenship and Deputy Director of COMPAS and Jo Glanville, Director of English PEN.
