About

Heather Phillipson presents 'the flavour of cooling enormities', an audio-sculptural event, squeezed around the Pavilion's architecture. Inserting voices, bodies, music and objects into its orifices and recesses, Phillipson ignites the Pavilion's visual and sonic axes with a one-night-only poetic oddity. Tickets £5/4 available from Ticketweb or the Galleries Lobby Desk, +44 (0)207 402 6075 An award-winning poet, Heather Phillipson's recent solo exhibitions and events have taken place at Tate Britain, Bunker259 (New York), BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Whitechapel Gallery, the ICA and include a video commission for Channel 4 television. Between June and October 2014, Serpentine Galleries present Park Nights, an annual series of live art, poetry, music, film, literature, performance and theory. This summer, eight events have been conceived to take place on selected Friday evenings in the unique environment of the Serpentine Pavilion 2014, designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radià„‡.
