About
George Charman's exhibition at West Dean College sees the realization of 'Artichoke House', a pavilion based on an unsigned architectural plan by Edward James, founder of the Edward James Foundation and West Dean College. Charman has reworked the original plans, conceived by James in collaboration with Christopher Nicholson and Salvador Dali in 1936.Artichoke House is funded by Arts Council England and the Edward James Foundation.
