Carl Jaycock explores ideas about identity through objects and images taken from a range of cultural sources such as the TV, newspapers, junk, shops and old archives.
In doing so, these materials are transformed to recontextualise a variety of cultural perspectives. The playful cut and shaped paper artworks investigate the rich complex narratives in our shifting culture and the connections between local and global culture.
