The Tour of All Tours is ostensively a guided tour of guided tours that takes place in the Brick Lane and Liverpool Street area. It is a work very much about perceptions of public space and the relations between visitor and resident whilst also admitting local concerns such as gentrification and the role of the creative economy in this process. This tour has been researched through taking tours of all sorts which cross the area, of course it covers the street art tours and Jack the Ripper tours but it does not stop there, it goes into more specialist and marginal tours, audio guides, artist projects, pub crawls, protests and more besides. In this way it uses the guided tour as a basic frame of reference but is not restricted to tourist content.
