How do critics work? Who do they write for?

Join us for a discussion with panel members JJ Charlesworth, Art Review; Coline Milliard, Artnet; Sacha Craddock, Chair Bloomberg New Contemporaries; Marjorie Allthorpe-Guyton, President AICAUK.

The US magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, May special issue looks at art criticism in Europe. Contributors include Sarah Kent, UK critic and curator who answers questions posed by artist Phyllida Barlow. Panel members talk about the issues they raise in the context of the Biennial.

Free, booking recommended through The Bluecoat box office.

AICA is the UK section of the International Association of Art Critics, see www.aicauk.org for the Brooklyn Rail issue.
